the Convex Logo
This is my convex logo.
i made a circle. and duplicated it several times
added different colors and added gradient to some of them. then added text and duplicated it...but instead of giving a blur i just off set my lettering from each other.

Tribal Design
This is my tribal design. Using Inkscape
i was able to make a hook and then duplicated and copied
several hooks, which i formed into hearts and other designs..
then after i got them all done and connected i duplicated the entire thing and made put it behind the original just off center to give it a shadowed look.

Funkalicious Name
I created this in Inkscape, which is a free online program. creating this by using the text button and duplicating the text. then using the path tool and then using the dynamic offset to pull each layer out and away from the original name. then changing each layer a different color.

One Point Persective Using Flash
I drew in a point at the right side. and then connected two lines coming from the dot to the other edge of the paper.
Then i made everything line up with that dot. Such as the fence, how the barn is sitting and how it's shaded.

Textured Face
This is my Textured Face.
Used In Gimp.
I opened 2 pictures. One with A picture of my self. And another with a Textured picture of some rocks.
In the Textured Picture, I selected All, then went back to the picture of my self and right clicked and pressed pasted into. And made the picture of the rock into a new layer. Then I changed that layers' mode, which made the rocks overlay on the face.
Also i played with the mode on my face layer too.

Hands and Eyes
Again using Gimp. Very simple to do. Have two pictures. One with your eyes covered, making sure that your hands are flat either having palms up or the back of your hands up. Then another picture of yourself with your eyes wide open.
Select your eyes with the rectangle box tool and select one eye. Make sure u have some excess around the eye. then hit Crtl + C to copy; past it in the other picture with your eyes covered and move it into position. Do the same with the other eye. Making each eye in a new layer. then after you've erased all the excess and blended the edges in to your hands Merge all 3 of your layers into one. Then Your Done. :D Very simple.

How i done this was i picked out a picture of myself, added about 10 layers,
then in each layer i went to Colors, Hue and Saturation and changed the color settings. after i done this to each layer except for one. This one layer being my original. then i went to Filters --> Animation --> Optimize To GIF (here you can change the speed of how fast your transitions go through) then go to Filters--> Animation--> Play Back. and once you have things set and your happy with it. You can Save it and you're done

Pop Art Affect
To do this in Gimp, I selected a picture with a white background. I then went to colorize in the Color Tab and changed my saturation to 100 and had the my Lightness was at 16%. Then Going to the same tab i choice Threshold, turning the pic to black and white, and changing the default to what I liked. After this add a Quick mask, giving a red shade over the picture. Taking the paint brush choosing white and whited out the face. Remove the Quick Mask, this gives u the "marching ants". then Added a New Layer leave it as the default settings and in transpartent, then change the mode of the new layer to Multiply. Then Choose your Paint Bucket choose the color you want for the background then say ok then hit Crtl+ i this allows u to paint outside the the "Marching ants"; once your done hit Crtl+ a. And Your DONE!

Which Is Better Flock or Internet Explorer??
1)Between the two Browsers I'm very impressed with Flock, and I'm a big fan of Internet Explorer (IE) Being able to have my friends list as a side bar is nice, and being able to just click and drag an item and place it with a friends name to share. You Dont see that in EI.
2) Flock has an easy to use set up with having all your favorite social networking, media, photo editing, news and any other sites you love to veiw. Which can all be located in the "My World" Tabs. Laying everything in the palm of your hands.
3) The Timing it takes to view the pages seems sooo much faster then with EI. Which is very nice. Dont have to spend 10 minutes waiting for a page to load!! GREAT!!
Abstract:
Flock is still developing and working out bugs. But so far it seems that it might come out to be a top dog in the Browser industry. It's easy to use, similar to firefox, Internet Explorer, and others. And thats a big reason I like this new browser is because it is easy to switch over to. Since I've always used IE. Keeping the tabs, and when you log in to different pages it automatically asks if it wants to save you info.
Being able to switch between the different sites in the right hand table is also very nice along with the easy way of sharing different sites and searches with my friends and family i'm connected to. Great way for school projects (done in groups) can stay connected while they do research together!
